Jason is a Melbourne based Lighting Designer and Production Manager. Through the Broadway Masterclass at New York

                                        University, he gained an internship with legendary Lighting Designer, Ken Billington ('CHICAGO, DREAMGIRLS, HAL

                                        PRINCE IN CONCERT, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF'), on the Tony nominated THE SCOTTSBORO BOY in NY and was the

                                        the Associate Lighting Designer on the recent Australian tours of THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG and PETER PAN GOES

                                        WRONG for Lunchbox Theatricals, London.                                                                        


                                        Jason’s other designs have included PRIVATE PEACEFUL (The Loft, Chapel Off Chapel), MATADOR -  A Dance                                                       Spectacular (Sydney Opera House, Brisbane, Festival Centre Adelaide),TONI CHILDS RETROSPECTIVE TOUR                                                       THE HAUNTING (2017, Starring Cameron Daddo, Prince Moo Productions),ANOTHER OPENING ANOTHER                                                             SHOW (Manilla Street Productions) TWISTED BROADWAY (State Theatre). 

                                                  For Red Stitch Theatre Actors he has lit ABOUT TOMMMY  directed by Kat Hendry, BEHIND CLOSED                                                           DOORS (World Premiere), ROAM – A Multimedia Production directed by Gary Abrahams, (Green Room Award                                                       Nominated) and OUT OF THE WATER (World Premiere), directed by Nadia Tass.

           His musical theatre highlights include designs for Stage Art Australia, Melbourne: HAIR – THE MUSICAL, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, SPRING AWAKENING, BARE – THE MUSICAL, THE COLOUR PURPLE. Other lighting designs include AVENUE Q (Her Majesty’s Theatre, Melbourne & Crown Theatre, Perth), NINE – THE MUSICAL (Manilla Street Productions), PARIS – A ROCK OPERA MKM Productions (Melbourne Recital Centre), REFEER MADNESS RL Productions, THRILL ME (Ghostlight Productions), CARRIE - THE MUSICAL (Ghostlight Productions/ Moving Light Productions), 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (MTC Lawler Theatre,Vic. Theatre Company), STRICTLY BALLROOM (Tasmanian Premiere), LES MISERABLES,WE WILL ROCK YOU,  MARY POPPINS, SWEENY TODD and the award winning production of WICKED – THE BROADWAY MUSICAL (Encore Theatre Company, Tasmania).
